K-8 Literacy Lesson & Blog Content Creators (Contract, Remote)

Pay: $30/hour
Type: Independent Contractor (not employee)
Hours: Flexible, 5–10 hours per week
Location: Remote / Online

Are you passionate about literacy instruction and love creating engaging, standards-aligned resources for teachers? We’re seeking experienced educators or curriculum writers to join our team as contract lesson plan creators and blog writers.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Write high-quality K–8 literacy lesson plans following provided frameworks and directions.

  • Develop teacher-facing blog posts that are practical, research-based, and easy to implement.

  • Collaborate with our curriculum team to ensure alignment with the science of reading and writing best practices.

This position is flexible. You can work from anywhere, choose projects that match your interests and expertise, and accept or decline projects as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years classroom teaching experience

  • Strong writing skills with attention to clarity and teacher-friendliness

  • Ability to follow detailed directions and meet deadlines

  • Familiarity with literacy instruction, lesson planning, and standards 

  • Experience with PowerPoint and access to a personal computer
